Foundry patternmaking – to customer specifications
We create your patterns to conventional specifications or via 3D CAD data records. Existing prototypes can also be modified or reproduced.
Tailored patterns for the casting process
Patternmaking to our customers’ specifications: We create prototypes for you, based on the specifications in conventional drawings or your 3D CAD data record.
Already in the milling process we consider all requirements on foundry technology that apply further down the line. Plus we continuously check the patterns also during the actual production process. Our workpieces are very durable, meaning they can still be used after your cast component’s product life cycle.
We produce our patterns from wood, plastic or metal, depending on the requirements. Should you already have patterns for your purpose, we are able to adjust or repair them to your specifications. Or, if you need a reproduction of existing patterns but have no longer got the 3D CAD data, we can offer you photographic or mechanical measurement procedures that enable us to determine the required 3D data records in our measurement laboratory.
New opportunities with the 3D sand printing method
Cores and patterns made of sand are produced using sand printing to the 3D CAD data records provided by you. This method offers many reverse engineering opportunities, re-producing a component whose plans or 3D CAD data are no longer available. This fast production method also offers new perspectives for prototypes and very small batches. Our new printer is able to generate even fine and complex structures. For larger components we can join several blocks. This method provides long-term supplies without having to repair patterns and causing storage costs. Design adjustments can also be made at short notice. This successful concept means we can offer you short lead times, reduced rework and high flexibility.
Our experienced specialists will be pleased to assist you with any questions you may have. They can also provide you with tailored quotes. Contact us directly to benefit from our many years of experience and our commitment to quality.

The sand moulding process is used in our moulding shop to produce prototypes and individual components as well as small and medium batches in an efficient and cost-effective way.
In the fettling shop we remove all sand residues from the unfinished cast components and smoothen the surfaces. Annealing enhances the material properties.
We tightly monitor and optimise every batch and offer certificates for mechanical testing, intergranular corrosion/Huey test and structural examinations.
