"Laughing, chopping, seasoning – cooking with friends gives me a real sense of connection. Everyone brings something with them, everyone gets involved and we create something that we could only achieve together. I have the same feeling with my work at KSB. When we support each other, communicate openly and combine our strengths, we achieve more – for ourselves, for our teams and for the company."

"Weekends: While on a walk with my family we encounter a river, my son and I stand barefoot in the ice-cold water. I feel a sense of complete happiness and am deeply grateful for what an incredible team we are. It’s the same feeling that I have at KSB, where my colleagues and I have formed an unbeatable team."

"When I step onto the ice, I know one thing: I can’t win on my own. Sales is no different. Together with my colleagues, I develop the best solutions for our customers. Teamwork, strategy and supporting one another – that’s what makes me strong not only in ice hockey, but also in my work at KSB."

"I can only defeat giant monsters by working together with my friends. We make an unbeatable team and can master any online video game. Everyone has their own important role to play. It’s the same at KSB. As part of the team, I contribute my specialist knowledge when preparing quotations for our customers to ensure our shared success."

"When I pick up a cricket bat, it’s more than just a game for me – it’s a feeling of home, no matter where I am in the world. The sense of solidarity in sport inspires me: people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds share a common passion. Cricket has taught me a lot about leadership, strategy and being part of a team. I also draw on this experience in my job at KSB – because real strength is created when diversity is united with team spirit."

"Kick-off. The ball is in play. Everyone in the team knows their role – and gives their all. As a project manager at KSB, I am a team player first and foremost. Whether I'm on the pitch or working on a project, I think ahead, I’ve got my colleagues’ backs and make the critical pass when it counts. Only when we work together as a unit can we celebrate real successes."

"Working side by side to reach our goal – that is the key to success. I know this from running marathons, where I see myself as part of a team. Doing activities together gives us a feeling of belonging. I experience this team spirit every day as a finance manager at KSB. Not only does this enable us to deliver our best performance, but we are also part of a strong network."

My home is more than just a place for me – I associate it with stability, strong bonds and quality of life. As a father and husband, my family and my environment are my anchor.
With this support behind me, I can set the right focus in my daily work at KSB, take on responsibility, give people an environment in which they feel at ease and thus achieve success as a team.

In a marathon, every step counts. Just as it does at KSB: we grow through challenges, combine our strengths and work together to find solutions. Staying on course, we never give up. For us, “strong” isn’t just a word – it’s our mindset.

"Keeping going for hours, step by step, pushing beyond my limits – for me, running ultramarathons is more than just sport. It is an expression of grounding, mental strength and the determination to never give up. Together with my team at KSB, I also like to tackle challenges, consolidate our strengths and overcome hurdles. Our shared goal: reliable solutions and satisfied customers."

"It hurts to push myself to my physical and mental limits – but that’s what Hyrox is all about for me. Balance, centring, stamina and a positive attitude help me in this challenging fitness competition, but also in my job as a work scheduler at KSB. It helps me to stay calm and strong even in stressful situations and deliver the best quality."

"I love discovering new countries with an open mind, getting to know local customs and embracing the unknown. Every journey, every encounter broadens my horizons. At KSB, I work as a project manager and have found exactly the right environment for me: an international company that promotes diversity, fosters innovation and gives me the opportunity to develop myself further."

"KSB is my door to the world! When I go abroad, my colleagues introduce me to their countries and cultures. When they visit me in Germany, I like to act as a tourist guide because it creates a real connection when you show each other the world. As operations manager, I ensure that our products are manufactured to our customary high quality everywhere. Being able to see things from different perspectives is really helpful."

"Being open to new things, broadening my horizons - that’s what guides my life. As a finance manager at KSB, I work with people from all over the world. Exchanging thoughts and ideas with colleagues from different cultures results in creative solutions and creates a working environment in which diversity is valued and new perspectives are welcome."

"Every event creates memories – especially when cultural diversity is being celebrated. In Nigeria we like to wear traditional clothing at celebrations. They stand for identity, pride and history. As a sales engineer at KSB SupremeServ, I experience first-hand how valuable cultural differences are. In collaboration with international colleagues, we develop innovative solutions that transcend borders and drive our business forward."

"A new country, a new project – for me, being on the road means more than just travelling. It’s an opportunity to experience cultures, change perspectives and forge connections. As a product manager at KSB, this experience plays into my work: I have an open eye for innovation and a deep understanding of international requirements."

"Standing with my dog on the starting line of the Canicross World Championships was one of the biggest moments of my life. If you believe in something with heart and soul, you can achieve a lot. I am just as proud about my job as a welder at KSB. It’s the same thing here – you achieve the best results when you are passionate about what you do. "

"Burning legs: The last few kilometres of an intensive training session lie ahead of me and it feels good. I’m fully focused on my performance, just as I am in my work as a social media manager. I love sharing my knowledge with my colleagues around the world and improving our communication on social media."

"Living a healthier lifestyle has positively impacted every area of my life – including my work. Through discipline and perseverance, I’ve gained strength, energy, and confidence. This sense of well-being enables me to show up as my best self, support my colleagues more effectively, and contribute meaningfully to KSB’s success."

"I'm passionate about long-distance running, which pushes me both mentally and physically. I channel that same energy into my role as a project manager at KSB, where I lead projects from ideation to completion, collaborating with teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Whether I’m running or working, I always remind myself to embrace the challenges and keep moving forward – one step at a time."

"Going to the gym is a chance for me to grow! Every training session makes me a little stronger, more focused and clearer. Discipline and tenaciousness also drive me as an engineer at KSB. I am proud to support our customers throughout the entire life cycle of their systems – from planning and commissioning through to service concepts, both classic and digital."

"Heavy weights and complete concentration! I love making my body stronger. It enables me to give my all at work. As a service engineer, I’m on the road a lot. Like a machine doctor who knows and understands his patients, I make sure that our pumps and valves run reliably. I am proud to be part of an international company that stands for quality."

"My credo: You find your true strength when you combine discipline with passion. For my headstand exercise I need strength, control and stamina. I also draw on these qualities in my work for KSB. As an event manager, I plan and host events with precision and passion. I am proud of what I achieve in my training and at work."

"Mountain biking is a way of life for me – it gives me energy, motivation and the balance I need. I proudly wear the KSB logo at every race, no matter how steep the next hill is. As a sales representative I also have to tackle challenges. New projects motivate and stretch me, they are full of interesting opportunities – chances to perform beyond your personal boundaries!"

"Cricket is my great passion – this sport has been part of my life since I was a child and I now play it professionally. I also work as a project manager at KSB and benefit from what I have learned from cricket: team spirit, strategic thinking and stamina. Mastering professional and sporting challenges makes me proud."
