Help with expert knowledge
Dear Sir/Madam at universities and research institutions,
As a global manufacturer of pumps, valves and automation solutions with an active research department, KSB has been always at your side. Through research projects worldwide, we now have over 200 direct contacts to universities and research institutions.
The current restrictions due to coronavirus and the future hold major challenges for all of us. Rest assured that KSB is there to support you as a partner – not only in research but also in teaching.
Summer semesters are starting late this year or are being switched to digital solutions at short notice. We want to provide you with practical help!
Over the years, we have developed a broad internal repertoire of e-learning courses covering a wide range of subject areas.
We would like to offer these training courses to you and your students free of charge.
To give you an initial impression, here is an excerpt of the training content:
- Materials technology
- Hydraulic basics:
- Module 1: Centrifugal pump technology
- Module 2: Fluids handled and associated technologies
- Module 3: Pump and system characteristic curves
- Module 4: Fluid mechanics
- Module 5: Head losses
- Module 6: Calculating the system characteristic curve
- Module 7: Pump selection
- Module 8: NPHS
- The centrifugal pump as a mechatronic system
We would also like to offer you our comprehensive online Centrifugal Pump Lexicon in German and English.
Should you have any ideas or requests regarding any further forms of support we could provide, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In the coming year, we are planning a KSB open innovation platform to promote discussion and exchange on current and future trends and research projects.
You are warmly invited to participate in designing the platform with us. Please feel free to send us your requests or to let us know what features you would like to see.
If you have any suggestions, questions or are interested in getting involved, please contact email@example.com.
We hope that our initiatives will provide you with additional support in teaching your learning content to your students.
