Saving energy with our high-efficiency pumps

Our high-efficiency pumps impress with their optimised hydraulic system and integrated variable speed system.  With thermal insulation shells fitted as standard the pumps transport fluids with temperatures between -10 and +110 °C. They are suitable for pumping heating water as well as refrigerants and for applications in industrial circulation systems.

This is how high-efficiency pumps work

High-efficiency pumps only start up when they are really needed. In this way, they use significantly less power. They automatically recognise any change in pressure in the pipelines and stop when no longer needed. Almost 90 percent of the entire operating time are in the so-called part load range. Demand-driven operation can therefore result in major savings.

Saving with high-efficiency pumps

Current models use about 50 to 100 kWh per year. Common circulators in heating applications clearly exceed this amount, consuming approx. 500 to 800 kWh. Our high-efficiency, variable speed circulators meet all requirements set by the Energy Efficiency Directive applicable since 2015 (EEI ≤ 0.23, step 2).

Replacing a fixed speed circulator with a more efficient model quickly pays back – usually within three to four years. Another advantage: Not only are the models highly economical to run; with their long service life they also save you money in the long term.

KSB circulators are versatile in use

In private households, commercial buildings or industry: High-efficiency pumps can be found almost everywhere. For example in cooling and general circulation systems. As heating, air-conditioning or ventilation pumps they provide buildings with the right climate.
They are also suitable for drinking water and service water treatment as well as for use in solar thermal energy or small geothermal systems and everywhere water has to be heated up.
