Technology partnership for the global nuclear market

On 28 October 2025, KSB SE & Co. KGaA and HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH entered into a cooperation agreement in order to pool their expertise in canned motor pumps for the civil nuclear market.

10-tonne high-efficiency Sewatec SPN pump before installation in the Alexandria West waste water treatment plant

Pump modernisation in Alexandria, Egypt

To safeguard the existing infrastructure’s long-term functionality, the waste water treatment plant Alexandria West in Egypt has been comprehensively updated. The pump manufacturer KSB supplied and installed two powerful high-efficiency Sewatec SPN pumps.

New Slurry Pumps for Enhanced Serviceability

KSB GIW Inc., a US subsidiary of the KSB Group, is specialised in manufacturing mining pumps. In early October the company launched its LCC Gen2 pump on the market, which is designed particularly for medium-abrasion slurry applications.
