KSB’s Administrative Board announces extension of 
Managing Directors’ contracts
  • Dr Stephan Timmermann’s contract has been extended until 2027
  • Contracts of Ralf Kannefass and Dr Matthias Schmitz have been extended until 2029
  • Stability of Group Management ensured
     
FRANKENTHAL: The Management team of the KSB Group will continue to manage the company together until the end of 2027. The Administrative Board of KSB Management SE has extended the contract of Dr Stephan Timmermann (64) as per his request until 31 December 2027. Ralf Kannefass and Dr Matthias Schmitz have also agreed to extend their term of office by a further three years.
“This Management team has done an exceptional job over the years and has taken KSB to a new level despite the challenging conditions,” says Dr Harald Schwager, Chair of the Administrative Board. “We are delighted that we can ensure the successful implementation of KSB’s corporate strategy and the company’s further development thanks to continuity in KSB’s Management.”

The four-strong Group Management team has been responsible for KSB’s positive development over the last eight years. Under its leadership, KSB’s workforce has increased the company’s sales revenue by over 30 percent, tripled its profit (EBIT) and quadrupled its market capitalisation. Last year’s employee survey showed that KSB employees are more engaged than ever.    
As CEO, Stephan Timmermann’s areas of responsibility include KSB SupremeServ, Strategy and Human Resources. CTO Stephan Bross is responsible for driving Production, Research & Development and Digital Transformation. As CSO, Ralf Kannefass is in charge of Sales and Marketing. CFO Matthias Schmitz is responsible for Finance, IT and Procurement at KSB.
