Summary of Job description
- Carry out Final inspection of valves.
- Monitor and ensure the closing of X2 & X3 Notifications.
- Provide regular feedback to assembly and machine shop / Incoming inspection regarding the problems noticed during final inspection in order to take corrective and preventive action.
- Inform errors noticed in part list during final inspection to proper source for rectification.
- Ensure all requirements for the visual inspection for export orders.
- Carry out PMI check for special materials during final inspection.
- Carry out additional checks for C12A Valves.
- Prepare test report for prototype valves & Gear boxes, after witness of cyclic tests
Qualification and experience
DME / BE – Mechanical or Instrumental with 5-7 / 3-5 years of experience
Knowledge / skills required
- Knowledge of Quality Management
- Knowledge of SAP- SD module & MS Office
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Product Knowledge
- Knowledge of Valve Testing
- Knowledge in Valve castings and foundry process
- Knowledge NDT reports & film review
