Location: Rajkot - Ahmedabad (Gujarat) for Foundry
Summary of Job description
- Plan & control activities of inspection at Gujarat Base vendor.
- Responsible for effective & efficient utilization of available resources to minimize the inspection lead time and improve quality on continuous basis
- Responsible for Sample and Pilot lot inspection of castings.
- Responsible for layout inspection for new pattern / dies.
- Responsible for Pattern audit at supplier end.
- Prepare rejection analysis.
- Coordinate development of new components for inspection of newly developed components and regular product on sampling basis.
- Coordinate with Plants for smooth functioning of inspection activity at Vendor’s end.
- Create X2 for all sample castings inspected.
Qualification and experience
Diploma or BE in Mechanical / Metallurgy with 3 to 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
Knowledge / skills required
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office
- Qualification to PT-level-II, MP-level-II and RT-level-II
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of CAD system and Foundry processes.
- Knowledge of drawing symbols and drawing Interpretation.
- Planning and coordination
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy and Metrology.
- Knowledge of National and International standards ASTM/ASME.
