Location: Initial 6 months at Vambori (Ahmednagar) – Foundry / after 6 months at IPD
Summary of Job description
- Assess Vendor development cell / Purchase in supplier selection process.
- Conduct Process Audits, vendor audits, SQIP audits and Vendor rating as per plan.
- Accountable for Initiating actions at supplier end for the issues identified at plants.
- Responsible for process development for new component and existing components from technical and capacity point of view.
- Responsible for Quality tools like 8D, 7 QC tools castings received from Supplier
- Collection of data for Statistic Quality control & Rejection analysis and co-ordination with Development and Production Department for preparation of corrective action plan.
- Liaison with external agency / customer for inspection and responsible for documentation.
- Create X1, X2 and X3 notification in the system for the deviations/ rejections observed at respective stage
Qualification and experience
Diploma or BE in Mechanical/ Metallurgy with 5 to 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
Knowledge / skills required
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office
- Qualification to PT-level-II, MP-level-II and RT-level-II
Functional / Technical Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy and Metrology.
- Knowledge of National and International standards ASTM/ASME.
- Knowledge of SAP – QM module.
- Acquaintance of CAD system and Foundry processes.
- Qualification in system Audit.
- Knowledge of drawing symbols and drawing preparation.
