
Harald Schwager is the new Chair of the Administrative Board of KSB
- Oswald Bubel, the previous Chair of KSB’s Administrative Board, retired from the company on 16 June.
- Harald Schwager has been a member of the Administrative Board of KSB since the change in legal form to KSB SE & Co. KGaA.
- Schwager is focusing on continuity in order to ensure the company’s continuing economic success.
FRANKENTHAL: The Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB has appointed Dr. Harald Schwager as the new Chair of the Administrative Board. His predecessor, Oswald Bubel, who had headed the Board since January 2018, retired from the company on 16 June.
In addition to Harald Schwager, the other members of the Administrative Board are Monika Kühborth, Andrea Teutenberg and Michael Eckert. Together with Group Management, the Administrative Board defines the company’s strategic guidelines and monitors their implementation.
Harald Schwager holds a doctorate in chemistry and is originally from Speyer, Germany. He brings with him extensive experience from senior positions at BASF and Evonik, most recently as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board at Evonik Industries in Essen, Germany. He is also a member of the German Science and Humanities Council [Wissenschaftsrat] and holds positions in other supervisory boards. Schwager has been a member of KSB’s Administrative Board since the pump and valve manufacturer changed its legal form to an SE & Co. KGaA in 2018 and is focusing on continuity in his ongoing work for the company.
