Keeping Sand and Gravel Operations Moving: Two Years of GIW® Quick Ship 2.0

North American sand and gravel operations often run in demanding conditions where uptime and equipment reliability are critical to maintaining production. Slurry pumps in these applications handle highly abrasive material and frequently support continuous processing, making pump performance especially important. When pumps or spare parts are not readily available, downtime can quickly become costly.

Rapid Delivery When Uptime Matters
KSB GIW launched the GIW® Quick Ship 2.0 program to help address these challenges by reducing lead times for select GIW® LCC slurry pumps and spare parts across North America. The program ships select pumps within two weeks and spare parts within one week, helping customers respond more quickly to maintenance needs, unplanned outages, and changing production demands.
GIW® Quick Ship 2.0 has seen strong results since its launch two years ago. In 2026, KSB GIW has been able to quote lead times of two weeks or less 93.8% of the time for qualifying equipment year-to-date.
Coordinating for Faster Turnaround Times
The program has continued to evolve through ongoing investment and operational improvements. “The success of Quick Ship 2.0 comes from close coordination across forecasting, inventory planning, production scheduling, sourcing, and logistics,” said Tammy Hubert, Order Management & Logistics Manger at KSB GIW. “That coordination helps us deliver the fast turnaround times customers depend on while maintaining the quality and reliability they expect from KSB GIW, Inc.”
In addition to faster delivery, the program gives customers greater confidence in maintenance planning and scheduling by providing more predictable access to pumps and spare parts. “The biggest impact for customers has been responsiveness and confidence in lead times,” said Alex Kazmierczak, Senior Manager of Inventory at KSB GIW. “Quick Ship 2.0 helps customers get the equipment they need to keep operations moving with less disruption.”
Supporting Long-Term Customer Success
As production demands increase and operational schedules become tighter across sand and gravel sites, GIW® Quick Ship 2.0 will continue to play an important role in providing customers with fast and reliable access to equipment.
“KSB GIW’s Quick Ship program demonstrates our commitment to minimizing customer downtime through rapid, dependable delivery backed by targeted inventory, streamlined logistics, and rapid response protocols,” said Thomas Mueller, President of KSB GIW, Inc. “By pairing speed with OEM-quality products, disciplined supply-chain readiness, and transparent support, we reaffirm our promise to be a trusted, reliable partner for our customers.”
