Metallurgy Lab
KSB GIW's Metallurgical/Materials R&D Lab uses advanced testing equipment and instruments to perform materials development, technical support, application evaluation (e.g. wear and corrosion) and failure analysis tasks.
The testing capabilities include:
- Mechanical testing
- Thermal analysis
- Corrosion and wear tests
- Evaluation of alloy microstructure and solids particles
KSB GIW, Inc. offers Coriolis Wear Testing, which is available at only a limited number of places in the world. The Coriolis erosion tester is perhaps the largest in scale and most sophisticated in design, performing both sliding and impact wear tests.
The major hydraulic and testing parameters are measured and monitored by a computerized system.
