During their assignments around the world, KSB service engineers have shown a great deal of flexibility. Only when it comes to food are they unwilling to compromise – for example in Libya in 1980.

A sales company for Africa

In 1959, KSB founded a sales company in South Africa. Today, the Group operates a production facility in Johannesburg that supplies the entire African continent.

In 1959, KSB took over Armaturen- und Maschinenfabrik AG and its factory in Pegnitz. Today it is one of the biggest locations of the KSB Group.

Otto Klein-Kühborth succeeded Jacob Klein on the Board of Management of KSB in 1931. Holding a doctorate in law and politics, he shaped the history of the company over many decades.
