To date, KSB has carried out more than 4000 well pump measurements. The result: One third of all measured submersible borehole pumps were operated at an overall efficiency below 40 percent. Do you know the exact status of your well system?
Well pump measurement indicates just how efficiently and economically a system is functioning and reveals potential savings in energy costs. As part of the measurement process, KSB provides specific optimisation proposals for more efficient groundwater pumping.
By changing the operating mode and using high-efficiency products, it is often possible to cut energy consumption by more than 30 % – without jeopardising availability.
It is not uncommon to save more in electricity costs in one year than it costs to optimise the system.
