Technology partnership for the global nuclear market
On 28 October 2025, KSB SE & Co. KGaA and HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH entered into a cooperation agreement in order to pool their expertise in canned motor pumps for the civil nuclear market.
The aim of the partnership is to provide innovative pump solutions for nuclear power plant operators.
By cooperating together, the two German companies are combining their many years of technological experience in hermetically sealed pumps. Within the partnership, KSB will assume exclusive responsibility for sales of the jointly defined product lines in selected markets. HERMETIC is contributing its many years of expertise in the development and construction of canned motor pumps to the partnership.
The partnership between the two companies strengthens their international competitiveness and creates new opportunities in a challenging market environment. The two companies see this partnership as an important contribution to the safe and sustainable use of civil nuclear energy.
