KSB is never late, ensuring continuous innovation with tradition as the key. From the beginning to the latest products: KSB's achievements at a glance.

The establishment of the first branch in Bratislava in 1994 propelled the KSB brand into the Slovak market, where it has been operating for more than 28 years. In 2020, KSB Čerpadlá a Armatúry, s.r.o. expanded again in Slovakia with a service centre located in Šali.

2004

KSB acquires a majority stake in the Dutch company DP industries B.V. (manufacturer of vertical stainless steel pumps) and in the Spanish company BOMBAS ITUR.

1997

KSB acquires the Indian ANSI-valve and control valve manufacturer MIL Controls Ltd.

1996

The acquisition of GIW Industries, Inc., Grovetown, USA, marks KSB’s entry into the slurry pumps market.

1994

The joint venture KSB Shanghai Pumps Co. Ltd. reinforces KSB’s involvement in the Chinese market.

1993

After the division of the country, KSB splits into Czech and Slovak subsidiaries with headquarters in Prague and Bratislava.

1992

KSB – PUMPY + ARMATURY spol. s r.o. . opens branches in Olomouc and Bratislava.

1991

The eastern German “Hallesche Pumpenwerke GmbH” is integrated into KSB AG.

1989

KSB buys the world’s second-largest butterfly valve manufacturer, Amri S.A., Paris.

1986

KSB acquires the leading French pump manufacturer, Pompes Guinard S.A., Paris.

1984

KSB establishes a company in Australia.

1953

The KSB subsidiary in Pakistan marks the first penetration of the Asia-Pacific market. Today, 15 Group companies are active there.

1896

First foreign trade to Great Britain.

1871

Founding of the "Frankenthaler Maschinen- und Armaturen-Fabrik Klein, Schanzlin und Becker".
