One of the most important applications in pulp production is the heating of rollers since pressure, temperature and residence time play a crucial role in the quality and consistency of the end product.

Here and also for heating dryer systems, robust and high-efficiency thermal oil pumps are used, for example Etanorm SYT. The steam needed for steeping and boiling is generated in steam boilers using boiler feed pumps such as Movitec or Multitec.
Depending on the size of the systems, HG or HGM boiler feed pumps are used.

Single-stage volute casing pump in back pull-out design, with ratings and main dimensions to EN 733, with IEC-compatible power drive system comprising PumpDrive 2 and KSB SuPremE® motor or PumpDrive 3 (efficiency class IE4/IE5 to IEC TS 60034-2-3:2016) and motor-integrated frequency inverter. The pump is designed with replaceable casing wear rings, closed radial impeller with multiply curved vanes, single mechanical seal or double mechanical seals to EN 12756, shaft equipped with replaceable shaft protecting sleeve in the shaft seal area. The back pull-out design allows the coupling, bearing brackets and impeller to be dismantled without the need to disconnect the pump casing from the piping. Motor mounting points in accordance with IEC 60072, envelope dimensions in accordance with DIN V 42673 (07-2011). ATEX-compliant version available. Well ahead of the ErP Directive's efficiency requirements.

Double-offset butterfly valve with ISO 5211 compliant square shaft end, with plastomer seat (also in fire-safe design), metal seat or elastomer seat (FKM [VITON R] or NBR [nitrile]). Lever or manual gearbox, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic actuator. Body made of nodular cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel or duplex stainless steel (254 SMO). Wafer-type body (T1), full-lug body (T4), T4 suitable for downstream dismantling and dead-end service with counterflange. Connections to EN, ASME or JIS. Fire-safe design tested and certified to API 607. Fugitive emissions performance tested and certified to EN ISO 15848-1. ATEX-compliant version in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU.
