When I first joined KSB in 1997 as a company trainee in the IT department at IPD, I couldn’t have imagined the journey that lay ahead. KSB provided me with the perfect environment to dive into the world of technology and for the past 27+ years, I have had the opportunity to work extensively in the Digital Transformation Cell (IT Dept).
During my journey with KSB I wore many hats-developing, testing, documenting, deploying, and maintaining more than 22 web portals for departments like HR, Finance, QM, PMPS, Administration, Sales, and Marketing. These portals became integral tools for employees across KSB India, MIL Controls, and KSB Tech. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how these projects evolved and how they’ve impacted so many people.
Life at KSB is not just about work; it’s about growth-both personal and professional! The most cherished moments at KSB for me have been being told by the young generation of the IT Department that I am a role model for them and they look up to me. And then, of course, there was the milestone of completing 25 years of service-a moment that brought both reflection and pride.
Throughout my time at KSB, I’ve been fortunate to work on a variety of key projects such as DTC Newsletters, SAP Release 1 and 3 implementations at IPD & PPD. I also supported the Workmen Union during the IPD / PPD Union Elections with in-house developed software. I am very proud to say I contributed to nearly all IT Platform / Technology rollover projects related to ISP Legacy systems and web portals.
Then, just when I thought I had seen it all, a new chapter began. I transitioned from my core IT work to the Sales Administration team in the Sales Function. This shift has been the most significant turning point in my journey at KSB. It has opened up new avenues for me to apply my IT expertise in a completely different domain, and I’m excited to see where this path will lead.
As I look back on my journey at KSB, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. I’m thankful to all my KSB colleagues-whether end users, IT and sales colleagues, mentors, or the senior management team-who have been a part of this wonderful experience. Their support and collaboration have made this journey truly special.
