KSB Australia Pty Ltd. is a leading pump manufacturer servicing the Australian Mining, Water & Waste Water Markets. Originating from Ajax Pump Works in 1939 and Forrers in 1988, the KSB Australia team have over 80 years’ local industry knowledge, a vast network of distributors, three sales offices and two distribution/service centres.

The two main production facilities located on the east and west coast of Australia house a stock range of end suction pumps, vertical multistage pumps, submersible sewage pumps, submersible borehole pumps and an extensive rand of genuine spare parts, including GIW slurry pump parts and KSB mechanical seals.

KSB Australia has two main assembly and service centres, located in Queensland and Western Australia with an additional sales office located in South Australia and sales personnel located across the country.

KSB Bundamba
KSB Bundamba is spread over 8,000m², and includes a 2,200m² workshop, with a large training facility and pump testing capabilities.

KSB Hope Valley
KSB Hope Valley is spread over 10,300m², and includes a 1,500m² workshop capable of repairing rotating equipment and assembling pumping equipment. KSB Hope Valley also features a newly commissioned hydraulic pump performance testing facility, which is able to test pumps of all sizes with it Clean Water Test Circuit and Waste Water Test Circuit.

2025

Expanded the KSB Bundamba Facility increasing stock capacity and facility capabilities.

2023

Opened a location in Newcastle to service the NSW Region.

2022

KSB Australia relocated from Ravenhall to a strategically located facility in Essendon Fields, Victoria.

2020

KSB Australia commissioned a new pump testing facility in Hope Valley, WA.

2015

KSB Australia opens a new purpose-built facility in Hope Valley to service Western Australia.

2011

KSB Australia moved to its dedicated Water and Wastewater Competence Centre in Bundamba, Queensland.

2007

The company name KSB Ajax Pumps was changed to KSB Australia Pty Ltd.

2001

The Forrers facility moved to the Tottenham facility.

1993

Manufacturing moved to a state-of-the-art premises in Tottenham, Victoria.

1991

KSB Ajax was formed bringing together the companies KSB and Ajax Pumps.

1988

The KSB Group acquired GIW Inc. Grovetown, USA. This acquisition marks KSB’s entry into the slurry pump market.

1939

Ajax Pump Work was established in Tottenham, Victoria.
