The selection process for the 2025 "Shanghai Craftsman" program was rigorously competitive, drawing 1,112 applicants from high-end manufacturing sectors including metallurgy, machinery, and aerospace. Following a comprehensive six-month evaluation involving qualification reviews, expert judging, and public notification, Tang Dejiang was one of only 112 individuals selected.
Tang’s inclusion in this elite group serves as a powerful endorsement of his personal technical mastery and underscores SEC-KSB’s robust capabilities in the field of nuclear equipment manufacturing.

Tang Dejiang began his career in the machinery industry at the age of 19. Over the past three decades, he has risen from a general fitter to a top-tier senior technician, consistently working on the frontlines of production. His expertise lies in the assembly of nuclear-grade pumps, where precision is paramount.

Process Innovation: Designing specialized tooling for nuclear main pump assembly to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
Efficiency & Application: The tooling he developed not only optimized internal production flows but has also been widely adopted for on-site maintenance at nuclear power plants.
