Since joining, the black and white picture of 1871, an invention of the Boiler Feed apparatus is etched in the memory. KSB has come a long way since and it is making its presence felt in all the major market segments. Brand KSB is immensely appreciated for the Quality and this is evident from the respect that we the sales people get from most of our customers and generally in the industry.

I joined KSB in May 2016 and I feel proud that I joined around the time when KSB India began a strong strategic journey of accelerated growth. Results since 2017 are enough evidence of the positive impact and change witnessed. And the juggernaut still rolls on very strongly.

The consistent efforts and pursuant actions to achieve the Strategic goals of 2020 and now the 2024 goal are such that could not have thought some years back. I have seen the serious pursuit of these goals by an alert, aggressive and impactful management, responding to the call of market and motivating the "People" of KSB to achieve year on year goals. Backed by decisive changes in policies, addition of products to the range, implementing changes like forming the Contract Management and DTC departments, putting more thrust on the KSB visibility in the media and advertising world, participation in virtually every major exhibition and event of the industry, has made KSB in India what it is today, feared by the competition if I can say that. The concerted thrust and dedicated efforts to grow in Domestic and Solar business provide more zeal and enthusiasm to excel and realise the dream of being the No 1 pump company in the country.

My Journey in KSB has been truly an enriching experience. Handling sales of one of widest product range of Pumps ranging from the Super critical Power Stations, Nuclear Power Stations down to the smallest Domestic Pump in household; Valves basket range that is increasing fast, has honed and sharpened my Skills and knowledge of the process industry. SupremeServ has always been a segment of special interest to me, due to my background and the fact that I have worked in Projects, Maintenance and Planning departments earlier in my career. Various opportunities opened up in the SupremeServ portfolio are indeed exciting. The "Passion" which is a culture at KSB has rubbed off to people such that it has inculcated keen interest in segments like Agri and Domestic, in particular which were not my forte but now I find so much satisfaction upon achieving success in this segment.

Working at KSB has enhanced many skills like handling multiple segments and products, dealing with associates and dealers in various segments, thus multi-tasking. One moment I am talking to a mega EPC on a Super-critical Boiler Package of Rs. 500 mio, next moment I am discussing a promotional scheme with a Domestic Dealer for some 1000 mini pumps and the next hour I am talking to a Refinery maintenance engineer on possible power saving modification in his BB5 pump handling hydrocarbon. Such wide is the range of KSB products that one develops into a very strong all round and confident personality. I consider myself fortunate that my tenure in KSB has benefited me in a big way.

Leading a team of promising, talented and enthusiastic engineers has been a wonderful experience. I have been lucky to have the present team, which is self-motivated, extremely hard working and self-driven. Thus, we at BO Baroda have been able to achieve consistent results in the last few years.

I feel there is a good Work Life balance and working liberty in KSB. This motivates the employees to work harder and take on the challenges in their own way. Outside work hours, thanks to the several gatherings, departmental parties celebrating small and big successes together, we have had, has inculcated camaraderie and team spirit within the office and between departments too.

I take this opportunity to wish all my KSB colleagues on the occasion of KSB completing 150 years. Together we will sail through all the challenges and achieve our Strategy 2024 goals!
