KSB Successfully Obtains Laboratory Accreditation Certificate to Help the Company Achieve High Quality Development

Recently, KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd. Testing Center (hereinafter referred to as the testing center) successfully passed the assessment of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment ("CNAS"), and successfully obtained the Laboratory Accreditation Certificate (registration number: CNAS L20013). It marks that the testing center has reached the accreditation standard in testing hardware and equipment, testing technology capability and laboratory management level.
China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is an authoritative laboratory accreditation body in China, responsible for the accreditation of all laboratories in China to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and is a member of the mutual recognition agreement between the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC). According to international practice, all the data provided by laboratories that have passed the ISO/IEC 17025 standard have legal effect, and the test data results issued within the scope of CNAS accreditation have international authority and credibility, and can be mutually recognized in more than 100 countries and regions around the world.
The testing center was established from the end of 2022 to start the organization and implementation of CNAS accreditation work, has carried out the certification of the initial CNAS standard training, system document construction, internal auditor qualification training, internal audit and management review, accreditation application filing, record filling, online text review, text review correction, meet the training, on-site review, non-conformity rectification and so on, more than ten to obtain the certificate of the specific work.
During this period, the company hired experts to conduct professional training and guidance for all staff of the testing center, including CNAS accreditation standards, accreditation process, internal auditor qualification training, quality records and technical records of the key points, the authorized signatory training, measurement uncertainty assessment, welcome to the audit training, and many other content. In the whole CNAS accreditation preparation process, including the modification of the accreditation management system documents, internal audit and management review, the validity of the equipment and instrument calibration certificate to confirm the validity of the accreditation management system operation quality records and technical records and many other tasks, but all the staff of the testing center is not afraid of hardship, patience to learn, hard work, study, overcome the difficulties, and successfully complete the CNAS accreditation requirements of the work tasks.
During December 9~10, 2023, testing center finally ushered in the long-awaited laboratory on-site accreditation review. China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) appointed two experts of the assessment team, the assessment team experts of our testing center system operation, management elements and technical elements of the standard/guideline review, through the inspection of documents and records, interviews, on-site questioning, on-site environment and facilities, instrumentation and equipment configuration confirmation, on-site operation and other aspects of the careful review, unanimously agreed that the laboratory in the management system, hardware facilities, Quality Assurance, Technical Capability and other aspects have met the requirements of internationally recognized standards.
The CNAS laboratory accreditation not only brings good improvement to the business process and operation level of the testing center, but more importantly, it marks that the testing center has the national and international recognized management level and testing capability, and can issue testing reports with international authority and credibility. The testing center will further protect the company's product quality, strengthen the company's product quality control capabilities, to provide customers with satisfactory service. The testing center will also take the "CNAS accredited laboratory" as a new starting point, adhere to the quality policy of " fair testing, standardized management, timely and accurate, gatekeeper service ", and continuously improve the technical capacity and management level to ensure the quality of the company's products at a higher level, and help the company achieve high-quality development.
