In order to implement the plan for the overall layout of the China's digital development", the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's digital transformation standardization test point requirement and the implement plan for the digital transformation of Shanghai's manufacturing industry, Shanghai KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd. completed the online and offline assessment of the digitalization of manufacturing enterprises above scale in November 2023, and obtained the assessment certificate and digital transformation assessment report of 5 grades (scenario level: digital integration of the main scene).
Digital assessment work is carried out by the government in order to map out the status quo of digital development of manufacturing industry above scale and promote the digital transformation of enterprises, which is funded by the government to diagnose enterprises free of charge, and assess the maturity of enterprises' intelligent manufacturing and data management capabilities. The whole assessment work will be completed in three years in 2023, 2024 and 2025. By the end of 2023, the first batch of 1,800 enterprises in Shanghai will complete the diagnostic work (including 300 at the municipal level and 1,500 at the district level), and our company has taken the initiative to apply for the first batch of 300 municipal diagnostic quotas.
The assessment is completed by the nationally recognized Beijing Guoxin Digital Transformation Technology Research Institute in an "online + offline" manner.
Online assessment: Each functional department answered more than 200 self-assessment questions on five aspects, namely, digital strategy, digital capability, systematic solution, governance system, and business innovation, and provided the enterprise with reporting documents on digital transformation and a large number of digitalization-related statistics.
Offline assessment: Four experts from Beijing Guoxin Digital Transformation Technology Research Institute visited KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd. on November 21 and 22, focusing on digital management, digital transformation development strategy, systematic solutions and other aspects, and conducted digital assessment of KSB Shanghai's sales, research and development, design, process, production, inspection, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, service, and other production links, as well as IT, algorithms, human resources, Finance, equipment, EHS digital resource allocation and other aspects of the review, verification, to make a comprehensive assessment of KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd. intelligent manufacturing and data management capabilities of the maturity.
In the high-level interview session after completing the diagnostic assessment, Mr. He Jun, Chief Executive Officer of North Asia Region, and Mr. Yao Mengxing, General Manager of KSB Shanghai introduced KSB Shanghai's digital transformation strategy to the assessment expert group in detail, emphasizing that digitalization is one of the three major strategies of KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd.
Each functional department also showed the assessment group the intelligent factory, KI-PUMP SENTINEL, SAP, Ki-Cloud and other systems in detail respectively. The assessment group also went to the production site to check the application condition of digital kanban, safety light system, mobile warehouse and MES system.

From the dimension of digital transformation level, KSB Shanghai has exceeded 84.8% of enterprises in China; exceeded 91.7% of enterprises in general equipment manufacturing industry.
The results of this digital assessment show that KSB Shanghai has taken a big step forward in digital transformation and is in the forefront of the industry after obtaining the AA-level certificate of two-chemical integration last year. This digital assessment not only affirms KSB Shanghai's achievements in digital transformation, but also points out the direction for KSB Shanghai's next step of digital transformation.
