
KSB Ignites Partner Potential with Inaugural "S-KNOW" Empowerment Initiative
SHANGHAI, China – In July 2025, KSB successfully concluded the first session of its new "S-KNOW" channel empowerment program at its Shanghai headquarters. Themed "A Century of Pumping, A Future of Innovation," the event brought together core channel partners from across China for an intensive journey from strategic vision to practical application.
The "S-KNOW" initiative is KSB's strategic response to a rapidly evolving market. Recognizing that sustainable success requires a learning-oriented and agile partnership ecosystem, KSB has launched the program as a key investment in its most valued asset: its partners.
The training was opened by Mr. He Jun, REO of KSB Asia North, who underscored the company's commitment to its partners. "Our partners are an indispensable link in KSB's value chain," he stated. "We envision 'S-KNOW' as a platform for co-creating value, elevating our relationship from a commercial link to a true strategic alliance."

Following the opening, Mr. Frank Zhu, Managing Director of KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd., delivered a strategic keynote titled "Vision-Led Navigation." He traced KSB’s 150+ years’ journey from a German precision engineering firm to a global leader in pumps, valves, and systems. "KSB's legacy is built on an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation," said Mr. Zhu. "And its prosperity is built on the trust and support of every partner." He outlined the company's future strategy, emphasizing collaboration to seize new opportunities in digitalization and sustainability.

The three-day program was structured around four core modules to build comprehensive partner competency:
Strategic Alignment: Establishing a shared vision by delving into KSB’s global mission, corporate culture, and compliance standards, ensuring a unified approach to the market.
Technical Expertise: Equipping partners with in-depth knowledge of core product lines, from technical principles to application scenarios, enabling them to deliver more persuasive and effective customer solutions.

Market Acumen: Sharpening commercial skills by analyzing industry trends and customer insights, shifting the focus from reactive selling to proactive value creation.
Ecosystem Collaboration: Strengthening the partnership by exploring optimized cooperation models, enhancing service quality, and building a shared brand reputation for a mutually beneficial ecosystem.
To translate knowledge into confidence, participants toured the KSB Shanghai factory, observing its state-of-the-art digital test bed and intelligent production lines. The firsthand look at KSB’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and German engineering heritage reinforced their belief in the product quality.
The final day featured breakout sessions focused on four key sectors: General Industry & Building Services, Water & Wastewater, Petrochemical & Chemical, and Excellent Service. These dynamic workshops allowed partners to share real-world case studies, successes, and challenges, transforming theoretical knowledge into actionable intelligence.

The event concluded with a formal certification ceremony, where Mr. Frank Zhu presented certificates and awards to the attendees. "This certificate marks not an end, but a new beginning of responsibility," he concluded.
