RUV Licenses Granted

Recently, SEC-KSB received the notice from the NNSA, approving its application for adding wet winding motor RCPs (RUVs) to its Design and Manufacturing Licenses for Civil Nuclear Safety Class 1 Pumps (RCPs).

So far, SEC-KSB has been formally granted the design and manufacturing licenses for RUVs from the Chinese nuclear regulator, besides its existing licenses for shaft-sealed RCPs (RSRs). Therefore, SEC-KSB is qualified for supply of RCPs for both HPR1000 and CAP1400 reactors.
