Prototype of Standardized Auxiliary Feedwater System Motor-driven Pump for Hualong One Passes Appraisal
On December 14th and 15th , 2021, China General Machinery Industry Association (CGMA) organized the Appraisal Meeting for prototype of Standardized Auxiliary Feedwater System Motor-driven Pump for Hualong One by live + video in Beijing and Shanghai. The prototype is jointly developed by SEC-KSB and CNPE.

The expert panel consists of members from Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute, Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China National Nuclear Corporation, Fuqing Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., Hainan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., China Guodian Zhangzhou Energy Co., Ltd., Sanmen Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., China General Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and Shanghai University of Technology. Guests from China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNPE), Shanghai Nuclear Power Office and SECNPG are attended the meeting, too.
The experts listened to the summary report on the prototype development and consulted relevant technical documents. Before the meeting, experts at site inspected the production and testing sites and witnessed part of the performance test of the prototype.
After inquiries and discussions, the appraisal committee formed the following appraisal opinion: the standardized Hualong One auxiliary feedwater system motor-driven pump is successful; it has independent intellectual property rights, and its performance indicators have reached the international advanced level of similar products, and can be promoted and applied in nuclear power plants.
