KSB Limited opens a new service station in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh
Today, KSB Limited inaugurated it’s 6th service station at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, India at the hands of Mr. Rajeev Jain, Regional Executive Officer, KSB West Asia and Managing Director KSB Limited to provide reliable, efficient and prompt service for pumps to its customers. With its service stations situated at Noida, Howrah, Chennai, Odhav and Chinchwad, Baddi shall be the new addition to the portfolio thus enabling KSB provide better service across India.
This service station is a part of SupremeServ, the aftermarket business, which aims to provide world class services for our customers. Considering the huge installations of KSB pumps in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and its adjoining states, setting up an additional company owned service station to be in the close proximity to our customers was necessary.
This service station is built in accordance with global best practices followed by KSB group and is equipped to provide superior service to its customers. This new service station is spread across an area of approx. 4,600 sq. feet and will cater to the servicing of pumps for various markets like the Water Waste Water, Energy and Standard Industry. It will cater to the service demands of all major water supply schemes, Irrigation & Public Health (IPH) departments, hydro power plants, HP state electricity board etc of Himachal Pradesh and its adjoining areas where KSB has a very good installed base of its pumps.
KSB’s presence at Baddi shall benefit the customers with original spares parts availability and quick turnaround of their KSB pumps.
Highlighting KSB’s strong focus on energy and resource management, the service station is built keeping in mind the climatic conditions of Baddi. The translucent roof-tops provide natural lighting inside the service station to carry out work during the day. The roof-mounted wind driven turbine ventilators provide natural ventilation without any power consumption. The lighting and illumination are based on energy efficient LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000+ hours, thereby achieving around 50% energy savings compared to conventional lighting.
