The journey at KSB has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m proud to say, it’s a privilege and honour to be a KSBian!!!
I was doing my final year project in Coimbatore during my post-graduation degree. During this time on my way to office, where I was doing my project, I would always pass through KSB. Looking at the KSB factory from outside, I was very much attracted and was hoping that one day, I would get a chance to work in this organisation. Coimbatore is considered as a Pump manufacturing Hub and I had a few friends who spoke very highly of KSB as a top multinational pump company.
After my graduation while looking out for job, I came across an advertisement for the opening of a programmer. The company’s name was not mentioned, but I still applied for it. Ongoing to for the interview I was thrilled to know that the opening was at KSB Ltd. I had prepared thoroughly for the interview and so got selected. This was my entry to KSB as a Programmer in the IT department in October 2000.
On joining KSB, I got an opportunity to work on various ISP applications and developments in Oracle, based on the business requirements. While working on these developments in sales and production modules, I could develop as well as give support for Order Processing, Material Resource Planning, Industrial Engineering and Maintenance. All these exposures improved my IT skills and I learnt many more techniques in programming, as well as in the functional areas.
My next milestone was my part relocation to IPD, Pimpri for SAP release 1 implementation in June 2006. This was a big break through as I got a chance to work closely with KSB Germany SAP team, along with third party consultants, who were highly proficient in SAP. In those days, SAP skills were in great demand in the business arena.
As I developed all these skills, I got married in June 2009. This again was another turning point in my life as it gave me lot of happiness, satisfaction and a different perspective in life. In 2013 October, I relocated to Pune mainly because of my liking to my job, and the warmth and friendly atmosphere that I enjoyed with my colleagues at KSB, Pimpri. The climate and culture in Pune were also the added attractions for me shifting to Pune.
Presently, I am excited to be part of the SAP HANA implementation team, and looking forward to its go live.
Being a part of KSB has truly transformed my life, bringing me all the success, growth, and fulfilment I’ve always aspired to gather. I feel incredibly proud to be a member of the KSB FAMILY. It’s not just a place to work—it’s a place that empowers you to thrive and be your best.
