Today, KSB products are in operation in almost every corner of the world. And the company can be proud that it is thanks to decades of expansion that KSB products are installed in customers’ plants all around the globe. Since customers expect the fastest possible delivery of pumps, valves and spare parts, KSB has established a network of production locations close to its most important markets.
KSB manufactures Etanorm pumps in Germany, China, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
Power station pumps of the HG type series are produced in Germany, China and India.
With an inside diameter of up to four metres, Mammouth butterfly valves are one of the largest series-produced valves in the world. They are manufactured in Spain and China.

Várzea Paulista plant, Brazil
The Várzea Paulista plant in Brazil is one of the Group’s largest production facilities outside Europe and is a key part of the Global Manufacturing Network. It primarily manufactures centrifugal pumps, valves and complete systems for water management, industry, and the chemicals and petrochemicals sector. The location is also an important export hub for markets in North and South America.

Strategic locations in growth markets
In Brazil, the economic engine of Latin America, KSB supports key industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, mining and water management. The plant in Várzea Paulista produces the Omega type series, among others, and supplies products not only for the Brazilian market, but also for Germany, the USA, Mexico and Australia.
In South Africa, the industrial centre of Africa, KSB produces over 6,000 Etanorm pumps a year at its plant near Johannesburg and functions as a strategic hub for the entire continent.
Shirwal plant, India
One of KSB’s most modern production facilities for high-performance and nuclear pumps is the Shirwal plant in India. Providing key technologies for energy and infrastructure projects, it strengthens the country’s industrial base. The plant covers over 50 percent of its own energy requirements with a solar energy system and in the buildings daylight and evaporative cooling are used. Thanks to these measures, its carbon emissions are significantly reduced.
Germiston plant, South Africa
KSB operates an important plant on the African continent in Germiston, near Johannesburg. Around 320 employees manufacture pumps for the water supply, industry and mining sectors. The location is part of KSB South Africa’s nationwide network, which maintains modern production facilities with comprehensive service, spare parts supply and after-sales services.
Changzhou plant, China
The Changzhou plant plays a key role in KSB’s global valve business, serving as a base for the localisation of products and services. Since 2011, employees at the plant have been producing a wide range of valve designs for different applications and operating conditions.
Competence centres for Asia
As the world’s second largest economy, China is a central pillar in KSB’s Global Manufacturing Network with five production locations. The Changzhou plant operates as a competence centre for valves, producing products such as the Mammouth type series, which is available with inside diameters of up to four metres.
In India, one of the most dynamic economies in Asia, KSB is setting the benchmark with seven ultra-modern plants. The Shirwal plant near Pune manufactures high-performance pumps such as the HG type series for power station applications and strengthens the supply chain for the Indian market as well as exports to Asia.
