KSB in Norway

KSB Norge AS is a sales and service organization that is part of KSB SE & Co. KGaA. As a supplier of pumps and valves since 1945 and with our long history and high expertise, we offer our customers excellent service. Our products are known for their good quality, LCC and high efficiency.

KSB Norge AS became a certified Eco-lighthouse company in October 2019 and was re-certified in October 2022.

Eco-lighthouse is a national environmental management scheme, recognized by the European Commission in 2017, and may therefore be used in tender competitions that set requirements for EMAS or other environmental management systems.

History

KSB Norge AS is a dynamic company synonymous with innovation and tradition. This brief overview shows some of the milestones in the history of KSB Norway.

2013

The company name changes to KSB Norge AS after the acquisition of WM Teknikk AS and the last 10 % of the shares in Lindflaten AS

2008

KSB AG acquires 90% of the shares in Lindflaten AS

1945

Hans Lindflaten AS is founded and is KSB’s representative in Norway

1926

First documented KSB pump delivered to the Norwegian market

1887

KSB becomes a public limited company (“Aktiengesellschaft”), with Johannes Klein at its head.

1871

Johannes Klein receives a patent on his newly-invented “boiler feed apparatus”. Together with Friedrich Schanzlin and Jakob Becker, he founds the company “Frankenthaler Maschinen- & Armatur-Fabrik Klein, Schanzlin & Becker” to manufacture boiler feed equipment and valves.
