A chemical plant based on the model of BASF
The People's Republic of China, a country where tradition meets modern, today is the motor that drives global economic growth. Counting six million inhabitants and being the second largest city in Eastern China, the industrial city of Nanjing keeps rapidly evolving, and so do its economy and infrastructure.

The client:
BASF-YPS, a German-Chinese joint venture
Modelled on the BASF main plant in Ludwigshafen, one of China's largest connected chemical areas was built in Nanjing. BASF-YPC is a 50:50 joint venture of BASF and Chinese Sinopec, which produces chemical products and polymers destined for the domestic market.
