Stephan Braun – Parts On Demand: Additive manufacturing of spare parts for pressure equipment

How safe are 3D-printed spare parts? KSB expert Stephan Braun will outline the regulatory framework governing the additive manufacturing of pressurised components and explain the processes KSB uses to ensure the quality of spare parts produced with this method.

Florian Kohlmann – Engineering the extreme: Scalable solutions for Carnot batteries and SMRs

Florian Kohlmann will be sharing fascinating insights into KSB's materials development activities over the last few years. His presentation will chart the path from the development of valves for high-temperature applications through to the handling of corrosive fluids such as molten salt and lead, culminating in Carnot batteries and SMR solutions ready for series production.

This year, we are proud to present two products nominated in the Valve Star Award categories “Automation” and “Valves”: our BOA-Systronic ePIC control valve and the SISTO Multiport Diaphragm Valve.
The Valve Star Award is presented by the renowned trade journal “IAD – Industriarmaturen & Dichtungstechnik”, which also previously presented KSB with an award for its MIL ISO 15848 sealing system at the last Valve World fair.

SISTO-C Additive: Proven Technology Meets Additive Manufacturing

The second product nominated for the award is our innovative SISTO-C Additive multi-port block valve. Its additively manufactured hollow-body design reduces material usage and weight, minimises energy losses, and can help shorten downtime in hygienic process applications.
