Desalinated seawater for the people of Jerusalem
Water has always been a precious commodity in the dry areas of the Middle East, particularly in the region around Jerusalem in Israel. To safeguard the water supply for decades to come, national water utility company MEKOROT was commissioned to build a new supply system to pump desalinated seawater from the coast toward the inland areas. KSB provided four large RDLO water pumps for the newly built Kisalon 2 pump station.
