KSB Showcases Four Products at 2026 Product Launch and Oktoberfest in Shanghai
On October 30, 2026, the KSB Product Launch and German Oktoberfest took place aboard the Princess Yunjin cruise ship on Shanghai’s Huangpu River. The event brought together product presentations, technical exchange and traditional German festivities, providing an opportunity for KSB to strengthen relationships with customers and business partners.
Four Products Across Key Applications
The event opened with remarks by Mr. Frank Zhu, Managing Director of KSB Shanghai Pump Co., Ltd., followed by presentations of four KSB products for petrochemical processing, data center liquid cooling, industrial wastewater and marine applications.
- RPH Heavy-Duty OH2 Process Pump
The RPH is a single-stage, single-suction process pump designed for refinery, petrochemical and chemical applications. It complies with API 610 / ISO 13709 requirements. Sizes DN80 and above feature a double-volute design that helps reduce radial forces and loads on bearings and mechanical seals. Local manufacturing, assembly and testing capabilities further support competitive delivery to the Chinese market.
- MoviBloc Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pump
MoviBloc is suitable for circulation systems in compact coolant distribution units (CDUs) for single-rack and in-row data center liquid cooling applications. Its close-coupled pump and motor design provides a compact footprint, while its low net positive suction head required (NPSHr) and range of material options support different operating requirements.
- SPF mini Dry-Installed Volute Pump
Designed for industrial wastewater applications, SPF mini features an open impeller and is available in sizes from DN40 to DN80. With different material configurations, the pump can be used in applications such as industrial wastewater and landfill leachate handling, providing an additional option for lower-flow wastewater pumping duties.
- ETL Next-Generation Engine Room Pump
Developed for the Chinese marine market, the locally manufactured ETL engine room pump is designed for applications including engine cooling, bilge drainage, ballast systems, and cooling and air-conditioning systems. It features a marine IEC motor and various standard mechanical seal configurations, further expanding KSB’s localized product portfolio for marine fluid handling.
Celebrating Oktoberfest on the Huangpu River
Following the product presentations, the event continued with a traditional Oktoberfest celebration.
The opening ceremony brought together Mr. Zhang Zhixiong, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Real Estate Minhong (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Shanghai Minhang United Development Co., Ltd.; Mr. Ralf Kannefass, Managing Director of KSB Management SE and Chief Sales Officer; Mr. He Jun, Regional Executive Officer of KSB Asia North; Mr. Bernd Hoffmann, President of KSB Petrochemicals / Chemicals; Mr. Christian Haag, President of KSB General Industry; and Mr. Frank Zhu.
The traditional beer keg-tapping ceremony marked the start of the festivities. Guests enjoyed live music, refreshments and interactive activities in a relaxed atmosphere, creating further opportunities for exchange and networking.
