Pump Engineer
Reports to: Project Engineering Manager
Tasks / Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical engineering duties to plan, design & maintain industrial centrifugal pumping systems & related projects for water & waste water management: evaluate requirements & specifications, & prepare systems proposals; specify system components & modifications to ensure conformance with engineering designs & performance requirements; & work with engineers & technical personnel to resolve mechanical malfunctions & provide ongoing technical support.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (a U.S. degree or foreign degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree) in Mechanical Engineering plus at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as an engineer (any job title(s) acceptable) evaluating industrial water or waste water system projects scope & specifications, & designing & providing industrial centrifugal pumping solutions for industrial water or waste water system applications. Will accept a U.S. degree or a foreign degree evaluated to be equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering by a qualified credentials evaluation service.
