Showcasing technology developments at GETS 2014
NTPC, one of the maharatna company organized a 2 day International Global Energy Technology Summit 2014 in NOIDA, India. The focus of the Summit was on the emerging new technologies for facing the future challenges of Power Industry. Going into the time machine and visualizing the future, everyone can foresee scarcity of fossil fuels, water resources, land, environmental challenges and rapid capacity additions. The summit was held at Power Management Institute, NODIA on 8th & 9th November 2014.
KSB represented in GETS 2014 by putting a stall at PMI. Utilizing this platform, new developments on various pumps and valves along with their features and benefits were explained to the delegates. High pressure pumps like CHTD, LUV, YNK along with 3 way valves were briefed to the visitors. Mr. Rajesh Arora (DGM, North Zone), Mr. Farrokh Bhathena (G. M., P&A), Mr. M. E. Kishore ( Sr. Manager, P&A) and Mr. H. S. Puri (Manager, P&A) along with Mr. Shekhar Karale (Manager, Marketing Services) manned the stall.
Stall witnessed a large no. of footfall including senior delegates from power industry like Mr. Anup Roy Choudhury (CMD, NTPC), Mr. Tomohiko Okada (Director) & Mr. Masami Suzuki (Chief Technology Executive) both from Toshiba JSW Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. visited KSB stall and showed their interest in KSB products and their developments.
The summit concluded on a positive note with a message by Mr. Jha (ED, NTPC).
