Klaus Burchards, Stuttgart
Klaus Burchards was born in Ingelheim am Rhein in 1950.
After training as a banker with Bankhaus B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. and completing his degree in business administration at Saarland University, he started his professional career with the Treuhand Aktiengesellschaft Rheinland auditing and tax consultancy company in Wiesbaden in 1977. Having passed the examination as a tax consultant in 1982 and as an auditor in 1985, he was appointed to the executive board of Treuhand Aktiengesellschaft Rheinland. After acquiring all shares in Treuhand Aktiengesellschaft Rheinland in 1987, he managed the company together with a fellow colleague until it became part of KPMG, where he was appointed as a partner in 1992. Klaus Burchards subsequently retired 2012 from the company and has since been running his own consultancy.
He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of KSB since 18 April 2017.
