  1. 1964

    In cooperation with German chemical companies, KSB develops the CPK standardized chemical pump series to satisfy a newly published standard.

  2. 1964

    1964 Otto Klein Kühborth

    Dr. Otto Klein-Kühborth transfers a qualified majority holding of the company's share capital to the KSB Stiftung (KSB Foundation). Established in 1960, the Foundation aims to encourage research in the natural sciences and support future specialists in the fields of technology, natural science and economics.

  3. 1959

    The German companies "Pumpen AG" (Homburg), "Kleinschanzlin-Bestenbostel" (Bremen) and "AMAG-Hilpert-Pegnitzhütte AG" (Nuremberg / Pegnitz) are amalgamated into "Klein, Schanzlin & Becker AG".

  4. 1955

    1955 Fertigungsstraßen

    KSB's first automatic production lines help our assemblers put together globe and gate valves and, eventually, Eta pumps.

  5. 1954

    KSB builds the first-ever barrel-type boiler feed pump for a steam power plant run by Chemische Werke Hüls, Germany. The pump set delivers a discharge pressure of 409 bar.

  6. 1953

    The foundation of a Pakistani subsidiary marks the company's move into the Asian-Pacific markets.
