KSB pumps and valves that purify gases released from ships’ engines
Cruise ships, tankers and huge container vessels: maritime transport operations around the world burn fossil fuels and generate large volumes of emissions. Strict limits on emissions at an international level are intended to make ships cleaner. This is technically possible, for example, by cleaning exhaust gases using scrubber systems. KSB supplies a variety of butterfly valve models for this process. Around 70,000 commercial vessels worldwide must comply with emission regulations.
