The experiences of yesterday are valuable. They make KSB successful today and strengthen the company for the challenges of tomorrow

  1. 2009

    The German-Chinese joint venture SEC-KSB Nuclear Pumps and Valves Co. Ltd. holds the ground-breaking ceremony for its factory in Lingang, near Shanghai, producing pumps and later on valves for Chinese nuclear power stations.

  2. 2008

    KSB establishes joint ventures with two Asian companies. The German-Japanese cooperation Nikkiso-KSB GmbH develops and sells canned motor pumps for the European and Middle Eastern markets. The German-Chinese joint venture company Shanghai Electric-KSB Nuclear Pumps and Valves Co. manufactures safety-relevant pumps and valves for the Chinese nuclear power plant market.

  3. 2007

    The Supervisory Board approves the largest single investment in KSB’s recent history. It covers the construction of new halls as well as modern production and testing facilities at the Frankenthal and Halle sites. KSB’s innovative product Microchem is the world’s first centrifugal pump for moving the smallest of quantities in micro-process engineering applications.

  4. 2006

    Im Dezember des Jahres 2006 lief die 60.000ste Eta-Pumpe vom Band.

    KSB receives an order for valves amounting to roughly € 17 million, the largest valves contract ever secured in the company's history. In December of 2006, the 60,000th Eta pump produced in that year left the factory. This is an all-time record in KSB's standard pumps production.

  5. 2004


    KSB introduces a new system for use in reverse osmosis (RO) desalination. The system, called "SalTec", enables energy costs to be reduced compared with conventional turbine solutions through hydraulic power transmission.
