Making better use of available energy resources – pumps used as turbines |
Our energy recovery systems really come into their own in those applications where the pressure of a flowing medium has to be reduced.

Pumps used as turbines (PaT for short) are typically integrated in those processes where reducing the pressure of a flowing medium traditionally would have meant an irreversible loss of energy, e.g. in water transfer installations. The use of PaT is economically viable only from approx. 50 – 500 kW.
