Marco Godenschwege - Intelligent, economical and reliable? Sounds like an integrated systems solution from KSB

Long-distance water transport systems

From the tapping point to the point of use

As a result of the intensive cultivation of farmland and the increasing rate of climate change, the need for irrigation and water supply systems is on the increase. The places in need of water are often very far away from a natural water source.

Long-distance water transport

Applications:

  • Municipal and urban water supply
  • Feeding of irrigation and spray irrigation systems used in agriculture
  • Emergency water supply

Whenever water has to be transferred across vast areas of land, a long-distance water transport system is the answer. Depending on the topographical, hydrological, geological and ecological conditions, pumping stations and centrifugal pumps used are either connected in parallel or in series. KSB offers customized solutions – to suit the flow rate, head and distance to be covered.

Our scope of services ranges from pre-planning to the supply and ready-for-use installation of main and auxiliary pumping units, and includes project coordination, supervision of the construction work and commissioning of the pumping equipment.
