Our focus is on energy efficiency
In a system where energy is recovered by turbine, the specific energy consumption for pressure boosting would be 3,3 kWh/m3. With the indroduction of SalTec, KSB is working to reduce energy input to 2,5 kWh/m3. For a permanent operating period of 20 years at a kWh price of € 0,05, this would mean energy savings of € 1,4 million.
