Klaus Stock - Whatever your application area, the solution is just one stop away: KSB

KSB has the right solution to every pumping problem.

Waste water pumping stations are either designed as main or intermediate pumping stations and they serve to transfer domestic, industrial or municipal sewage and waste water. As intermediate pumping stations they are used in those situations where gravimetric fluid transfer is either not possible or too costly.
Pumpstation

Submersible motor pumps are applied whenever the duty conditions are suitable; dry-installed volute casing pumps are the ideal choice in those applications where the cost incurred by a pump failure would be in no relation to the relatively higher expense of building an adequate civil structure.

Dry-installed pumps are used as collecting pumping stations, when they are installed in a central location, because they are easily accessible for inspections and maintenance and to remedy a possible malfunction. A high degree of operating reliability and easy access for maintenance and operation are the main characteristics of a dry-installed pumping arrangement.

KSB products in action:

Khalifa Town - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Abu Dhabi's largest waste water pumping station comprising dry-installed pumps is situated near the border of the emirate. Through numerous small pumping stations, all of Abu Dhabi's waste water and sewage is pumped to the main pumping station and conveyed from there to the effluent treatment plant some 30 km away. The individual pumping stations deliver between 97 and 4320 m³/h at a head of 12 to 28 m.
