    Annual General Meeting of KSB Aktiengesellschaft

    The pump and valve manufacturer KSB is celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2011. At the Annual General Meeting held on 18 May in Frankenthal, the Chairman of the Board of Management, Dr Wolfgang Schmitt, recounted the company’s long and successful history and held out the prospect of further growth to shareholders, presenting KSB’s plans to double its consolidated sales revenue, compared with the year 2008, by 2018.

    KSB is a winner in the “British Pump Industry Awards”

    On Wednesday, 23 March 2011, KSB Limited (UK) was given the coveted award for “Environmental Contribution of the Year”. At this year’s “Pump Industry Awards” in Coventry, KSB Limited received the award from the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association (BPMA) for and on behalf of the KSB Group.

    KSB Group posts growth in order intake and sales revenue

    The order situation and sales revenue of pump and valve manufacturer KSB developed positively in 2010. The Group’s order intake exceeded the two billion euro mark for the second time. As anticipated, consolidated earnings fell short of the prior-year figure.

    KSB acquires South Korean valve manufacturer

    24 March 2011 saw KSB buy the South Korean valve specialist Seres Co. Ltd. The company was founded in 1982 and has a total workforce of over 130 employed at its Seoul headquarters and its production site in Busan, South Korea’s second biggest city.
